Belzoni, Mississippi | Im from the mississippi delta and iam seriously considering planting a substantial amount of my acres in wheat. The reason for this is the recent run up in price. Im hoping that the rest of October and November will dry up. SO i have a couple of questions?
1. When is it to late to plant a good crop of wheat?
2. What is the best seedbed preparation?
3. Drill or broadcast?
4. Pounds per acre?
5. Double crop considerations, beans or milo?
Any help on growing some good wheat would be appreciated!! | |
