Subject: Has Anyone Read Tim Noakes, "Waterlogged"?

NW IA
I have followed John Burns links down the YouTube rabbit hole to the tune of fifty pound gone and holding, approaching 2 years.

I became aware of Noakes book when it was mentioned in low-carb on-line content.

Haven't read it myself, would like to at some point.

In my experience, more carbs = more thirst, less carbs = less thirst.

Gross oversimplification, salt, (that used to be evil) conducts water molecules to sites where it is needed on your metabolic "map". Sugar holds on to water making it unavailable to your metabolic machinery and scooting it on out of your body without benefit leading to increased thirst. Repeat! Oversimplification from memory!

I only drink if I am thirsty, not much at this time of year. Maybe a glass of water a day beside some coffee.
