If you would like a skid steer, more power to you.
You will find many uses for it once you have one and will wonder what life was like before you had one.
we put 2200 hours on one between 2010 and 2019.
I had to live half of 2019 and all of 2020 with out one.
2020 we had more employee injuries from lifting things we should not have been humanly lifting.
I justify my skid steer owner ship for rock picking and more efficient snow removal

if i did not have snow or rocks I would not have a skid steer just for stuffing bags in a van. I would burn bags. but to each their own.

I am intrigued by the single arm skid steer offerings from JCB and Volvo. Though JCB has glitchy electrical according to NAT.
if you are a two man or more crew get a regular skid steer but for a "one man band" the ability to get out the side door with the boom up looks really interesting.
I have had to crawl out under the boom a couple of times and it is probably not safe to leave the cab.
