one of my employees was having a bad day one day jumped in a cold skidsteer at 30 degrees 15-40 oil in the engine. firewalled the throttle and broke the oil pump. spun bearing in the block and ruined it for use as a core. took 18 months for a suitable core to reveal itself to my shade tree mechanic to rebuild into an overhauled engine. other wise it was going to be $17,000 from Butler for a reman engine for that age of skidsteer. |
