We take net off before tub grinding or running through a bale processor. Don’t think it’s good for the cattle but more importantly don’t want the plastic net building up out in the fields or pastures or wherever you feed or haul manure. What I’ve done different times is baled with sisal twine if I knew I was going to be tubgrinding then made sure I got it home in a stack right away ready to be ground. Otherwise grass and alfalfa we stand on end and take wrap off ahead of time before grinder comes. We take the wrap off 15 or more bales a day for feeding or bedding.
