We are in a different climate, so may not apply. I have found year in year out we are always better off with N in the ground. Irrigated gets some mid to late season through the pivot. Dry land needs to be on up front or we lose yield. Just not enough rain most years to utilize side dress.



I tend to agree. I've always had better luck with N in the ground.
