West Michigan | Supertiquer. The reason for planting them would be to make more money. I have raised non-gmo and many other specialty beans for many years. IMHO this is because the non-gmo seed doesn't keep up with the yield of the newer gmo beans. 10 years ago the yield advantage was with the non-gmo. But I think (IMHO) about four years ago it went to advantage gmo. Now what is the reason for the yield to be this way?? Is it that the new beans are so great or that no one is breeding non-gmo's? Thats a good ?. | |
