Central Ohio | One hour of non-HD TV is about a gigabyte of data. Most phone plans I have seen throttle the data after a certain gigabyte of use. Our plan on Verizon throttles after 15 gigs. If you have two phones with hotspot then that means, on our plan, you would only have 30 hours of TV a month because it’s unwatchable when they throttle it back. My nephew is on our plan and he just got a truly unlimited in truly and throttled home Internet hotspot through Verizon. But then you would be spending close to what you probably are spending on cable if you went that route. I assume you’re using your phones to shave the cost. | |
