Cheese Whiz? You mean that synthetic cheese product? In the coffee discussion above, Folger's is referred to as synthetic coffee. Well, if Folger's is synthetic coffee, then Cheese Whiz is synthetic cheese. Interesting enough.... I found this quote: "Dean Southworth, who was part of the original team that developed Cheez Whiz in the 1950s, described a jar he sampled in 2001 as tasting "like axle grease"
