Southern MN | My mom and dad were taking a vacation to Texas in the mid 80’s when they were caught in an ice storm down there. Decided if he was going to have crappy weather he might as well go home. Got to the major road where he was stopped by a law enforcement officer and told him all the roads were closed. Dad said he was from MN was sick of Texas where they shut the whole state down for a little ice. According to Dad when the officer heard he was from MN he said okay, you free to go then and let him on the road.
Funny thing we had are warmest Jan ever during that period, was in the 60’s here. | |
