When going from beans to corn I like to plant 30” so I can broadcast a simple cover on at leaf drop. I want to try broadcasting wheat just to get an early jump someday. I too don’t really understand mixing tillage and cover crops aside from erosion control over the winter. Seems like all the benefits are quickly negated with a plow. That’s if you “buy in” to the science, plenty do not for various reasons.
