we have a 5qt. Hamiton Beach with Teflon lined aluminum Pot, U can start off on the stove, sear or brown your meat or whatever, then move it to the slow cooker, this is a big plus,
we also have a 1 qt. a slow cooker that is just right for heating something from the freezer for 2 people
