Dalton, OH
I’m currently in the 30-day trial stage. The software is currently just for the accounting part and works as good or better than Quickbooks does. I do know they are adding more features all the time to the software, with the goal of having field level records sometime in 2021. I’m coming from FarmWorks and have been assured they are working towards similar functionality within a year or so. Honestly, I think they wanted to get the accounting part out as soon as possible especially for old FarmWorks users since Trimble is discontinuing support for the desktop software soon and many needed another option. By starting with the accounting at the beginning of the year, it allows for a fresh start and it should be fairly easy to incorporate field records as the season goes along. One of the great advantages I see is the fact that it is cloud based and they can update the software continuously and not effect my projects. I also love being able to enter stuff from any device. I know it was a long time ago, but when FarmWorks first started out, they didn’t offer all of the features that they ultimately ended up with after years of customer input and software development. Anyone remember FarmTrac for field maps and records?? There wasn’t even any accounting with that if I remember correctly. I would highly recommend people give it a try for 30 days alongside Farmworks or any other farm accounting software currently being used. There are definitely some things that are different and take some getting used to but I think long-term it will be a good product.
