| I have a 6000lb forklift that had worn solid pneumatic tires. Worked okay on dry gravel. I had custom wheels made and replaced with 12.5 -16 skid steer 14 ply for less $$ than I could purchase new tires. Same diameter, wider, more aggressive tread, same load capacity.
Steer wheels when empty gets most forklifts stuck. Lot of weight on small wheels.
