That's right Paul....

In some instances.....because of the over saturation of the band/zone, and by moving it side to side yearly, it MAY be possible to build with less.

The band can only tie up so much. So instead of just having xx% of the soil particles tie up added nutrients.....could be 100% or at least a very much higher %.

Over applying what is used and tied up leads to build. It isn't so much removal as to what is used. Difference between the 2 situations. Applying removal may not be enough....or be too much....depending on your soils and conditions.
