If your soils are good fertility, I believe you can apply lest fertilizer in a strip system, because it saturates the strip more of it is available to the plant for that year?
Someday I would think a person needs to adjust and rebuild, but you can put that off as long as soil tests & probably more important tissue tests show you are good to go?
