Subject: RE: buying clethodim

Beresford, SD
Head shelling this year has been almost nonexistent. 9% corn to 17%, no difference in head shelling. Corn shells incredibly easy. We think it’s due to the plant cannibalizing itself to finish the ear. Ear retention to harvest has been great even with the windy days and weak ear shanks. Any moisture under 15 will reduce total weight at the end of the day. Bought many bushels of 9% to 11% corn last week.
