Northwest Pennsylvania | In our area they are mostly picked into watermelon bins which are a bit shorter. For normal pumpkins we charge $75 a bin delivered 10 at a time within 100 miles or $65 picked up. For warty goblins and fat jacks we charge $100. There are enough at the produce auctions that if we raised our price our buyers would just buy there. Couldn't you just plant pumpkins in say July if you had irrigation. We plant the first week of June and the earlier varieties are normally orange in september | |
