Not sure which number we have.

I may be the only person on the planet dissatisfied with my sleep number mattress- but I won't own another. Pretty tall off the floor for one. Secondly- and maybe the most troubling- theres no support on the outside edges when sitting on the bed to get in or out. Had some problems with my legs the last few years, including a new knee last year. Got pretty hairy a few times when I started slipping off the edge. Might be that whatever number you're considering has a square supported edge, but if so, wish I had one. Finally, when comparing it to a newer Restonic mattress at our cabin, I just don't feel like the sleep number is that much (if any) better.

When we first bought the sleep number, it was very uncomfortable. The company service is very good, they sent a new mattress top right away after we called. It was an improvement, but maybe a thicker one than that would be better yet. May have to try that.
