It's computerized, no way it's gonna last that long. Wife has 4 different machines. One is maybe 10years old. Apparently the part she needs is obsolete already. I forget what it is, maybe the stepper motor. Regulates motor speed. It's either off or wide open.
We have a laugh.....I've bought her soooo much sewing/quilting stuff in the last 10 years and she's bought me lots of farm/ranch stuff in the last 10 years.
