Was the demeanor of the armed forces one of wanting to serve the country or more of 'I need to get my time in' ?
The very few I know that have been in military are pretty upstanding citizens , we had a local judge ,maybe 20 yrs. ago that would give minor law breakers an option to enroll for service in lieu of court imposed punishment.
Sorry for all the questions as I find it interesting and lot's of respect for everybody that has served. | |
