  | First, I don't know if you intended to reply to me or the original poster.  I don't know what kind of deed original poster possesses.  
Second, rereading the original post, it does look like it very well could be a quit claim deed since it reads like no money changed hands at that time.  
Third, if title insurance is involved there may be a dollar amount.  If title insurance was obtained for first deed,  I think it would be up to new owner to sue original poster for possession.  If title insurance was obtained for second deed, the insurance failed in their title search.  
I suspect the dollar amount for parties involved would encourage all to work out a settlement. |  |
