WC Iowa | Ill call a spade a spade, the Bayer corn looks worse but to be fair we have corteva qrome corn too looks just as rough. A little different than 2014 but some similarities. In 2014 our flat corn yields were at least 50 bushel off pace of the competitions flat corn. More disease driven then wind. In 14 the TW was so bad we had to dry 16% corn to get an ethanol plant to accept it, TW is 6# heavier today. Corn actually was much flatter in 14 but there's still time that could change. List could go on.
As far as throwing a company down the road.....well yes we threw stones but so did a seed companies and its dealer. Nobody wins. | |
