Sheep will clean it up pretty well too. I didn't have an abnormally high amount of harvest loss in recent years, but it's always more than zero. Where I have run ewes on stalks over the winter I have to walk out no more than one volunteer corn plant per 5 acres in my organic soybeans.
Do you run a protective animal with your sheep, or do you not have a high coyote population in your area? |
