Wisconsin | hold on, what kind of material are we talking about? fiberglass, plastic, tile? and what kind of stain? red rust? black molybdinum? just soap scum?
For soap scum, the blue can of "easy off oven cleaner FUME FREE" is incredible, spray on the foam and let it sit, the soap scum will usually wipe off with a sponge. Read the directions on any product before using it on fiberglass or plastic, they're easy to scratch with an abrasive powder. Car wax the vertical surfaces once it's clean to keep it easy to clean.
