Eastern Shore of MD | Seems like we had plenty of heat this summer - I don’t have GDU’s off hand but it was 90’s and humid all summer it seemed.
Folks grow a wide variety of corn here, 97-118 roughly. I’d say a good average is 109-112 day.
I should mention this was not double crop either. It was planted May 23 in what we would typically consider near ideal. Good soil temps (over 60) and warm weather after planting. We have tried dc milo but dry down is always the limiting factor.
