| I like collecting tractors and so did my dad. I’ve got all of his yet. Most were in various stages of restoration when he passed. I’m slowly working on them. My girls will get them some day when I’m dead and gone. If I don’t get them all painted before they start 4-h and FFA, they will have some projects.
I also have my dads 4430. I still use it a 100hrs a year or so. I’d really like to trade it but I’m attached to it more than my dad ever was. It was the first tractor I was ever allowed to drive by my self. My dad told my mom “it had a roll gard cab and was a flat field, he’ll be fine.” My dad rolled three tractors in his life, knock on wood I still haven’t rolled one!
Short answer tractor are just like cars motorcycles or any other antique, if you collect those kind of items you want anything owned by family. If you’re not an antique person you will never get it.
