Brookston, IN | I haven’t kept any of the families old tractors. There Is one I would really like to find and get. 1969 IH 856 Custom. Dad bought it new, traded it to grandpa a couple years later when the swapped tractors to be able to get the first 4wd on the farm. I spent a lot of time using it as a kid and it would still have some practical use on the farm if it was back. Unfortunately no one kept the SN so odds aren’t good of finding it, best hope would be because of some unique features/ changes that were made at the time it was purchased. | |
