| The 2050 doesn’t support external radios or modems when using the PIQ app. I have been able to configure in the FMX/FM1000+ app, then switch over, but Trimble have also confirmed it is not supported, so if it you can’t get it to work, then don’t expect any fix for it...
In saying that, if you are using a modem, there are other options, such as the DCM, SNM, GX450 or RV55 modems. In addition to this, if you use a wifi usb dongle in the back of the 2050, then you can use a generic wifi hotspot, as long as you have the external NTRIP unlock in the display, which will allow you to configure the NTrip settings the same way you would if you were using one of the Trimble supplied modems. | |
