Serena Il, Center of the Universe | In my area they recommend no more than 100#s of MESZ. Use DAP or Map for the balance. When it came out I did a trial. I banded an equal P rate and k on alternating strips with plain P&k mix. Same variety across 28 acres. They MESZ treatment stood out from emergence better coler and height. I don’t sell looks only yield. There was a 23 by yield difference for MESZ. The soil tests done previously showed adequate P&K. Soil types varied on half mile rows from good black dirt to muck to timber soil. These tied checks were full half mile passes. I used my SMS software to isolate passes for each trial.
