Some of these products came along after air seeders.

MESZ or Rock40 is a very good product for an air seeder. Better product granules or pellets if you will, and less fines.

Plus having zinc and sulfer in each pellet gets it near the seed when used as starter. Have seen studies of them compare to broadcast zinc or sulfer, and just gets way more product near the seed.


Yes the cost is higher per nutrient, but if you're not playing catch up, the MESZ and Rock40 are very good maintenance products. Especially if you have air seeder equipment.


Lots of guys on the plains have an air seeder for wheat, and air cart for striptill.
