North Central Iowa | My guess is you are losing gps signal occasionally, or a lot. Monitor won’t log data but will keep field yield going for load and field totals/averages. Should be a symbol/letters in top right if have gps signal. Might not notice it readily as the speed will revert to the wheel sensor it gps speed is lost. So could be bad connection, cable, or flaky gps unit.
If the yield monitor itself is bad, easiest is to replace in kind or even ag leaders older units will plug in. Ym2000 or pf3000. Not much difference except type of card used for logging and screen real estate. ym2000 doesn’t show map but does map data, and sram cards are tough to find however. | |
