Donnellson, IA. Makes saying here easier. | It's more of the working with the plant. Not so much the moisture on the leaves. Stoma are open more early in the day and allow an easier entry into the leaves. I spray foliar and fungicide late in the day(depending on dew point etc) or early in the morning. Sometimes that can be tricky without crop dividers as beans pull down easy when wet. Obviously not an issue with a plane. The industry works really hard at getting plants to do what we want. Following science is smarter, but of course its less convenient and well not when the modern world wants to work.
