In the past we have tried to calculate bean yields, but for us bean size seems to factor in quite a bit. I don't know how a person could figure this into a yield guess. For instance we had several strips of beans last year that the yield monitor claimed were between 90 and 100 bu/acre. They had around 50 pods on them, I don't know the standing population but they were planted in 30's at 160,000. If I remember right the field avg' around 65 or 70 based off scale tickets. You will no doubt have great bean yields, just wanted to point out we have had a lot of trouble just counting pods and using population to figure a yield on beans. Devin
