E ND | If you want to tube or ski with a 24' pontoon you'll be a lot happier in the 50 or better yet 75HP range. We put a 75 HP EFI 4-stroke Suzuki on a 22' and it get's along really well, at least as fast as you'd want to drive a pontoon!. Will pull a tube but the driver get's a good workout for sure trying to manhandle that big boat around without a lot of "snort" pushing it. I've never even though about trying to pull anyone skiing with it, unless you have a rear pylon or a tower it wouldn't be much fun trying to ski behind.
For as many things as you have to hassle with boating, I sure wouldn't submit myself to a 2-stroke, get a 4-stroke with EFI and you can just start and go. | |
