Grandad would have approved. Started in 1925. Survived the Great Depression and bought 6 farms over the next 60 years.
Inflation paid for a lot of those old boy's farms. My grandpa would be a case in point. Bought his first farm for $60/acre. Bought his last farm in 1965 for $170/acre. His heirs sold the farms in 1982 for $2500/acre
