Is it considered being a cheapskate to buy good clothes, parts, tools etc for pennies on the dollar? Have bought more than one unused $50 shirt for $5. I love looking for bargains when I have time to do so. Yes, I do. Not necessarily consignment stores but also Goodwill and Salvation Army. I have several shirts bought at those places that still had the tags on them: Columbia, Van Heusen, Stafford, etc. bought for pennies on the dollar. Once bought a sport coat at a yard sale that still had the tags on it. |
