SW MN | Another issue is that the meat isn't moving like it was...East/west coast restaurants have been very slow and thats where you see more lamb available on the menu....The Rule family is trying to get their new plant in CO up and running but until the meat moves better it won't make the market much better...
Have a friend that sells directly to ethnics off the farm, he has be very busy lately, moving a lot of animals but they like to do their own butchering in their own way...They will not buy it in the restaurants or stores...The demand is still there, just need to take the right road to it.. | |
