You do point out the short-coming of both the Greenseeker and the Chlorophyll meter.  They give you an indication of nitrogen levels at that point in time - they indicate what is in the plant. However, they don't give an indication of whether there is enough nitrogen in the soil to feed the crop thru the remainder of the season.
