I’ve never seen corn that did not look darker green facing away from the sun. Some more so than others. Maybe all our corn is deficient? Oliver green one way, Deere green the other.


That is the perfect description of color difference. Yes my organic corn is deficient early on before higher N availability and that's when I think about this topic while cultivating. The neighboring conventional corn has much less of a difference when viewed from different direction.
