I like GreenCleanPro from BioSafe Systems. Copper might work but I think you have to treat the whole body of water which is expensive and can kill fish if you over use it. With the GreenCleanPro you can spot treat and watch it sizzle the algae white. There’s really no way to over use it. Tell the DNR it adds oxygen to the water. They should like that!
