But I have asked before, are vehicles with dashcams always "in the right"? Will the dashcam ever show that you rolled thru a stop sign to avoid coming to a dead stop when you thought there was no other traffic?
Can your dashcam be confiscated for evidence and maybe used against you, especially if you're on the way to the hospital in the back of an ambulance?
Just wondering. Most of the ordinary people I know around here don't seem to be 100% perfect & occasionally make unreported mistakes.
I'm not perfect & don't claim to be,but with the sue happy lawyers advertising trucks are basically rolling atm's I will take my chances with the dash cam. Mine has already paid for itself. Dec. 30 2019 a pickup crossed 2 lanes of traffic & hit my front trailer axle.,luckily I was empty & the trailer was pushed to the side when he hit it or it wold have been worse. I saw him coming & got over on the shoulder & he still hit me.
