West Central Missouri | As others have mentioned, it's no longer necessary due to the automatic cleanout upon display shutdown.
I used to use that button as a quick diagnostic check of the system.
The power supply to the elevator mount unit, and the input to the auger motor, are both two pin weatherpacks. When installing, if you leave enough slack on the power cable, you can have the option to plug the motor directly into the power cable (which should result in continuous motor operation). This is not useful in the field, only for diagnostic purposes and/or extra thorough cleanout, but that is still a usefulness. | |
