We had a Seattle trip planned as our oldest daughter, husband, and new grand daughter are there. We canceled at her request because Seattle was particularly hard hit and is still more greatly affected than most communities. The commercial flying part I'm okay with, but are coming here instead. We debated the drive vs fly exposure idea and think that is a wash. Time is more valuable, so I'd fly. The drive is spectacular, but I have done it. We have considered taking our Cherokee 180. Last I checked, av gas alone would cost double the airline tickets for a flight that far but the Covid exposure is about nil.

Last time we flew, packed in like sardines and a lot of coughing going on.

We took amtrack a few year back and that was nice, but not back running yet.

Wife just got done with chemo and still gets infections easy.

Planning a motorcycle tour of cascades. Next year may be too late.

Thinking very serious about driving.
