Have done it a few times and normally plant some right after high moisture corn harvest. You’ll want a variety that has a good Fusarium (head smut) rating. Plant about 10% heavier and will need to bump N due to residue tie up. If notill will require high down pressure. I’d rather plant it dry and get a rain than wait for a rain and then plant.
