| Around here, when the local salesbarns sell a mature bull the auctioneer is careful to announce that the on-site vet will do a trich test if anyone wants to buy this bull as a breeding animal. Meaning (as I take it) that if you want to use the bull for breeding, it's on you to pay the salebarn vet to test him. Otherwise, you're buying him for his weight in hamburger.
