That - - - to me would pay for the difference in speed even more than anything else. My idea is maximum high quality tons per year. (notice the qualifier!)
Who uses a "flail cutter" to cut alfalfa? A flail cutter is what is commonly called a stalk chopper "here".
I can believe alfalfa would regrow 4 days faster with a sickle machine vs a flail cutter.
