Well, maybe the "big shooters" did just fine paying big money for dirt? Do you know? I'm 42 years old. I can't say I can remember land being purchased that somebody didn't say that they paid too much. I'm 21 years into my farming career on my own. When land was 1/3 of what it is today, it was too expensive. Some guys have a higher tolerance for stress than others.
Lots of complaining on here.
