Northern Illinois | Does the 8420 have ILS ? If not keep looking. 124000 isn't a bargain. ILS and active seat are two options I would not go without. Also with ILS you really need front duals. They are 5000.00 +/- to add. The 8520 is getting old and with 2500 if you put many hours on you will get beat up when you trade. 2011 tier 4 emissions come out. I think you will see a lot late model trades as guys don't want the dpf's. Remember ILS, Active seat, front duals, full HID lights, climate trac, scv's and 50" tires can really make price differences on similar tractors. We have both 8420 & 8430 equipped the same except IVT on the 30. With ILS and front duals they really "hook up " and pull. We have a pair of 535 quads but the last red wheeled tractor we have had is a Farmall 400 I think the magnums have a few improvements since then. | |
