NW Ohio | Have run a 2012 T8.330 for the past 5 seasons. Duties included: Fall Ripping, Spring Cultivation, Planting, Air Seeding, and Side Dressing.
Overall, have really enjoyed the tractor. Cab is nice and spacious, command arm is super user friendly, and noise is fairly low. Horsepower was more than adequate, even though it is a 280 horse tractor, it outpulled a JD 8310R in fall tillage. I will admit the JD was not weighted adequate for the job it was asked to perform.
Our model was the powershift transmission. Talk about smooth! Only two rough transitions, 6-7 and 11-12. Besides those two ranges, it is a pleasure to run and those two rough spots are nothing like the old powershifts in other series that you might crack your head on the back/front window.
Has been pretty maintenance free. Only true issue I can remember is I had a bad thermostat put me down for a couple hours. Just needed replaced and I was back to normal operations. Unfortunately, the tractor will be leaving the farm as the dealer support is basically non-existent. It will be replaced by a green machine and it is SOLELY due to customer service. I do not think the NH is any less of a machine than any other color. Do note, some of the early models (I think 2012-2013) have been known to have an O-Ring issue. I am not familiar with the problem and am not the one to explain it, but I do believe there was a fix available? If you haven't searched on here about the series please do so and make yourself familiar with the issue as it has been discussed several times here in the past. Also believe guys that do not work the tractor hard (ie undersized equipment, just planting rigs) have had some emission issues. Also has been discussed on this site before. Overall, I think they are a great buy for the money. Best of Luck!
